The new Everest can now use a longer suspension system with Bilstein shock absorbers. The vehicle will be 26 cm taller than the road surface and the wheelbase will be increased by 30 mm, accompanied by 265/70 R17 General Grabber AT tires.
The prototype has variant badges attached, but if you look closely enough, you can see shapes that match the letters ‘I-T-E-D’ followed by an ‘X’. Therefore, this may be the Limited X or Wildtrak X version.
The Wildtrak X variant shares the front end and extended wheel arches with the Ranger version. This includes a new Asphalt Black grille design with integrated auxiliary lights. The main front air intake is accentuated by a separate Cyber Orange highlight. Like the pickup truck version, the vehicle has dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels and ‘Wildtrak X’ badges on the front and rear doors.
The Limited X variant will have overall upgrades similar to the Wildtrak X. The front end is based on the Ranger Tremor. Like the pickup truck version, the vehicle is equipped with 17-inch black alloy wheels. This variant comes with ‘Limited X’ badges on the front and rear doors.
Both variants have raised black roof rails and black side step boards. The metal plates help enhance the SUV’s protection capability when going off-road. Ford is likely to continue using the 207-horsepower twin-turbocharged 2.0L diesel engine found in the Wildtrak X. These two Everest variants will be the optimal choice for those who enjoy off-roading in the Vietnamese market.
