After a long period of deposit collection, the Volkswagen Teramont X large-sized SUV model has recently been officially displayed at the dealership, ready to be delivered to customers.
Accordingly, the car is only distributed in Vietnam with one version, with an expected selling price of 2.168 billion VND.
Teramont X is developed based on the famous MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group with dimensions of length x width x height of 4.917 x 1.989 x 1.729 mm respectively, and a wheelbase length of 2.980 mm. With these dimensions, the car is positioned in the large-sized SUV segment, competing with Hyundai Palisade, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
Teramont X has a modern and youthful design, accompanied by many advanced technological features.
The front of the car is impressive with a 2-tier LED matrix headlights with 4 lighting modes and can automatically switch. The advanced lighting system assists with light blind spots, helping the driver confidently drive at night or in bad weather.
The rear of the car has a pair of rear lights designed to be connected together by black decorative paneling, accompanied by a square-shaped rear bumper, below which are two fake exhaust pipes. The car is also equipped with 21-inch R-Line wheels, red brake calipers, and Goodyear tires.
In terms of interior, Teramont X has a spacious 5-seater configuration. The car possesses a series of outstanding utilities such as: 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-inch touchscreen entertainment screen, Head-Up Display, premium 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, interior decorative lights, panoramic sunroof, power trunk (with kick-open feature), etc.
Providing power for Teramont X in Vietnam is a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing 217 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, combined with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
In terms of safety equipment, Teramont X owns a series of driving assistance features such as: driver attention warning, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), front/rear parking distance control (PDC), Hands-Off Detection system (HOD), emergency braking system in the city (monitoring pedestrians, bicycles), front collision warning (FCW) and emergency braking assistance (AEB), lane change assist, 9 airbags, etc.
