After a long wait, Honda has recently announced the price of its all-electric SUV model, the Prologue. The starting price for this vehicle is $48,795 USD (1.2 billion VND).

This SUV model was developed by Honda in collaboration with the GM group. As a result, the Prologue has many similarities with the Chevrolet Blazer EV, as both use the BEV3 electric vehicle chassis system.

In terms of size, the Prologue is larger than the CR-V but smaller than the Pilot, with dimensions of 4,877 x 1,989 x 1,643 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3,094 mm.

The 2024 Honda Prologue boasts a distinctive design style typical of Japanese car manufacturers. The front of the car is impressive with sleek LED headlights and integrated daytime running lights.

Between the two headlights is a glossy black strip with the Honda logo. This SUV model has a relatively large trapezoidal center air intake with a thick border, along with vertical air vents, square fog lights, and a sporty embossed hood.

The rear of the car features horizontal taillights, a rear spoiler, slim rear windows, and the traditional “H” logo replaced with the word “Honda”. The vehicle is equipped with 19- and 21-inch diameter wheels, depending on the version.

Inside, the 2024 Honda Prologue offers a spacious and comfortable cabin with a range of modern amenities such as an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.3-inch touch screen mounted on the dashboard, wireless phone charging, USB ports, heated front seats, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control, all of which are available on the standard version. The higher-end version adds features such as power tailgate, heated steering wheel, HUD display, panoramic sunroof, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

As for safety features, the Honda Prologue offers a range of driver assistance technologies such as blind-spot assist, rear pedestrian alert, and cross-traffic collision prevention when reversing. The 2024 Honda Prologue comes in two variants with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The AWD version features a two-motor electric drive system located on both axles, producing a total output of 288 horsepower and a maximum torque of 451 Nm. Regardless of the version, the vehicle is equipped with an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a range of 476 km according to EPA testing. Furthermore, thanks to its fast charging capability of 155 kW DC, this SUV can add an additional 105 km of range in just 10 minutes of charging.

It is expected that the 2024 Honda Prologue will be available at Honda dealerships in the US this spring.
