On the morning of January 27, 2024, a supercar event took place in Cambodia that caught the attention of car enthusiasts in Vietnam. In addition to the dozens of impressive supercars, there were also three iconic hypercars and megacars: two Bugatti Chiron million-dollar supercars and a McLaren Senna.
What’s interesting is that the McLaren Senna featured in this event is owned by a Vietnamese individual named Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh from Hai Duong.
Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh’s McLaren Senna features a vibrant Takuho paint job, which is one of the 500 Sennas produced worldwide. However, it is one of only two Sennas with the exclusive Cerberus Pearl paint color created by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), with the other one located in Japan.
The Cambodian license plate on Hoang Kim Khanh’s McLaren Senna has a twin exhaust system, providing a more exhilarating sound compared to many other Sennas that come with a triple exhaust system. Additionally, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers a maximum output of 789 horsepower and a peak torque of 800 Nm. The rear-wheel-drive hypercar is equipped with a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 341 km/h.
According to the information we have, wealthy individuals in Cambodia own a total of four Bugatti Chiron cars: two standard models, one Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 Ans Edition (limited to 20 units worldwide), and the recently imported Bugatti Chiron Super Sport in an eye-catching green color with a carbon fiber roof.
While the standard Bugatti Chiron has a gray exterior with a black rear half and red accents, all eyes are on the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. This model is produced by the French manufacturer in a limited quantity of 60 units worldwide and has a price tag of $3.9 million, or approximately 90 billion VND, which is $1.3 million more than the standard version.
The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, a million-dollar hypercar, is still equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine with quad-turbocharging, producing a maximum power of 1,578 horsepower and a peak torque of 1,600 Nm. However, the French automaker has limited the top speed of the vehicle to 440 km/h for safety and regulatory purposes.
