The MG HS is a mid-size SUV that was discontinued in Vietnam at the end of 2022. In 2023, this model was brought back to Vietnam for testing and emission certification before its market launch.
Earlier this year, the MG brand finalized the launch date of this model in Vietnam, specifically tomorrow, January 28, 2024. Prior to its official launch, the C-segment SUVs have appeared at the dealerships.
Upon its return to Vietnam, the MG HS 2024 is expected to be positioned higher than its sibling, the RX5. The upcoming Vietnamese version belongs to the mid-lifecycle facelift that was introduced to the Thai market at the beginning of 2022.
Imported as a whole unit from Thailand, the MG HS 2024 in Vietnam features significant design changes compared to the previous version. The exterior details that have been upgraded include the grille, headlights, LED daytime running lights, front/rear bumpers, fog lights, hood, alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and exhaust tips. These changes give the Chinese SUV a more sporty and impressive look.
