On December 22nd, 2023, license plate 11A-111.11, of Cao Bang province, was put up for auction by the Vietnam Joint Stock Company. After 30 minutes of bidding, super plate number 1 was auctioned off to the highest bidder, reaching a price of 8.78 billion dong.

Subsequently, the winning bidder completed the financial procedures by paying an additional 8.74 billion dong, with 40 million dong deducted as a deposit for this license plate.

Until now, the super plate 11A-111.11 has only been seen on the road, when the owner completed the registration for this VIP plate. The car registered with the license plate 11A-111.11 is sure to shock many people.

In particular, people thought that a luxury car, a supercar, or an expensive SUV would be registered with the license plate 11A-111.11, auctioned off for nearly 9 billion dong. However, it turned out to be a Honda CR-V, with the highest version priced at only 1.26 billion dong before deducting incentives.

Considering the current sale price of Honda CR-V at dealerships, just over 1 billion dong, the cost of the license plate 11A-111.11 is 8 times the value of the car. Therefore, there is no doubt that this is the most expensive Honda CR-V in Vietnam, even higher than the price of a Lexus LX600.

The Honda CR-V is in the C-segment SUV segment, known for its good driving experience and safety. The car is equipped with a 4-cylinder, DOHC, turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of 1.5L, producing a maximum power of 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 240 Nm, combined with a CVT continuous variable transmission.

Not falling behind its competitors, Honda’s model also features active safety systems such as the collision mitigation braking system CMBS, adaptive headlights AHB, adaptive cruise control system including low-speed range, lane departure mitigation system RDM, and lane keeping assist system LKAS.
