After nearly a year of global launch, recently, the mid-size luxury sedan model Mercedes-Benz E-Class W214 generation was officially introduced in the Southeast Asian market.

In the new generation, the E-Class has dimensions of 4,949 x 1,880 x 1,468 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,961 mm.

The exterior design of the 2024 E-Class shares many similarities with its sibling, the S-Class, not only in terms of overall shape but also in small details such as flat door handles and a chrome trim running along the trunk lid between the taillights. At the front, the headlights are slimmer, accompanied by a redesigned grille with a three-pointed star motif.

The highlight at the rear of the 2024 E-Class is the taillight cluster with a design inspired by the three-pointed star logo. The car comes with multi-spoke wheels ranging in size from 18 to 21 inches.

Regarding the interior, the cabin of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024 takes inspiration from the brand’s electric models such as the EQE and EQS, featuring the latest MBUX infotainment system combined with a full-length touch screen on the dashboard. However, the digital instrument cluster stands independently above the “super display”, providing the driver with a clearer view.

In the sixth generation, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class focuses on software upgrades by integrating popular social media platforms and games into the infotainment system such as Webex or Zoom video conferencing apps, the Vivaldi web browser, and TikTok.

The car is also equipped with 5 cameras inside the cabin, of which one is the standard equipment for the driver monitoring system. The remaining four cameras are optional, including a selfie camera, a gesture control camera, a surround view camera for driver assistance systems, and a dashcam.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged mild-hybrid I4 engine, with a power output of 204 horsepower and torque of 320 Nm. The electric motor provides a maximum of 23 horsepower.

It is paired with a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 240 km/h.

Introduced in Singapore, the new generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in 3 variants: E 200 Exclusive, E 200 Avantgarde, and E 200 AMG, with prices starting from 304,400 USD (7.44 billion VND) to 323,000 USD (7.9 billion VND).
