Recently, the BMW M 1000 XR has been unveiled, showcasing its impressive design. BMW Motorrad is set to officially launch the M 1000 XR model in the second half of this year.
Not much information has been revealed about the M 1000 XR prototype, but the car’s exterior features a sleek windscreen and a reverse-swept headlight with integrated daytime running lights. The headlights are connected by small M fins to enhance stability and increase downforce on the road.
The M logo can be seen on both sides of the fuel tank, and the car boasts a larger rear tire and a front-facing seating position for better control. Additionally, the car showcases carbon fiber details.
The BMW M 1000 XR is powered by a four-cylinder engine derived from the S 1000 RR and equipped with ShiftCam technology. BMW has optimized the engine for the M 1000 XR, resulting in a power output of over 197 horsepower. The car can achieve a top speed of approximately 280 km/h.
In addition, BMW Motorrad has announced that the M 1000 XR will be available with the M Competition package, designed to reduce weight and enhance dynamic features during driving. The car weighs 223 kg and is equipped with an M braking system and chassis technology specifically designed for improved road performance.
