Hyundai unveiled the 2024 Santa Fe mid-size crossover model in the South Korean market in early August.
During the unveiling, the car was introduced in two versions: petrol and hybrid engines. However, only the price of the petrol version was disclosed at that time. The price of the fuel-efficient hybrid version has now been unveiled.
In South Korea, the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid 2024 will be available in three versions: Exclusive, Prestige, and Calligraphy. The prices of these versions range from 38.88 to 46.21 million won (approximately 705 to 838 million VND) after deducting the tax incentive for hybrid cars in South Korea.
The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid 2024 is expected to be delivered to customers starting in October. It is powered by a turbocharged 1.6L 4-cylinder petrol engine, combined with an electric motor and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces a total output of 235 horsepower and a maximum torque of 367 Nm.
The car is available with both 1WD and 2WD drivetrains. The manufacturer claims that the 2WD version has an average fuel consumption of 6.45 liters per 100 km when equipped with 18-inch wheels. On the other hand, the AWD version has an average fuel consumption of 7.14 liters per 100 km with 18-inch wheels and 7.69 liters per 100 km with 20-inch wheels.
In addition, the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid 2024 is equipped with the e-Dynamic Drive system for optimized handling, e-Comfort Drive for a pleasurable driving experience, and an energy-regenerating brake system controlled by paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid 2024 offers similar convenience features to the internal combustion engine version. The standard version includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, front seats with cooling function, heated front seats in both rows, power-adjustable smart trunk, premium sound system, Digital Key 2 for accessing/starting the vehicle, and remote control via the customer’s smartphone.
The high-end versions of the car also feature double-layer soundproof windows and an optional head-up display (HUD) for displaying information. The new Santa Fe is available in 5 interior colors: Obsidian Black, Supersonic Gray, Pecan Brown, Forest Green, and Black Ink.
The safety features of the Santa Fe Hybrid 2024 include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Driver Monitoring System, Intelligent Cruise Control, and more.
Since the end of June, Hyundai has also introduced a non-new generation Santa Fe Hybrid model in Vietnam. The car is currently available for purchase with prices starting from 1.299 billion VND. It is possible that the new generation Santa Fe Hybrid will also be introduced to Vietnam in the future by Hyundai.
