The 2024 Nissan X-Trail has recently been upgraded with a sleek design and significant interior technology updates.

One of the most noticeable upgrades on the 2024 Nissan X-Trail is the new large grille with wide horizontal slats, which is also seen on other new models from Nissan such as the Almera and Altima. The front bumper area and taillights have been refined, while the two-tier headlight system remains the same as its previous version.

In addition, Nissan has expanded the exterior color options for this SUV, introducing three new colors: Everest White Pearl, Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, and Baja Storm.

The top-of-the-line Platinum version of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail features additional glossy black accents on the mudguards, side skirts, front, and rear bumpers. It is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design and a two-tone black-gray paint.

The interior layout of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail remains similar to the previous version but has received significant technological upgrades. Notably, it is the first Nissan model to have a built-in Google application infotainment system called Google Built-in. This system allows integration with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play on the car’s touchscreen display, along with access to the owner’s personal Google Account information (address, contacts, etc.) without the need for a mobile device connection.

Google Built-in is available on the high-end SL and Platinum versions, which come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster. The lower trims, such as S and SV, are equipped with an 8-inch center touchscreen and support wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.

The safety features of the 2024 Nissan X-Trail have also been upgraded. The Nissan Safety Shield 360 ADAS system is now a standard feature across all trims. The X-Trail SV trim includes the ProPilot Assist automatic steering support system. Additionally, the high-end SL and Platinum trims are equipped with the Navi-Link satellite navigation system.

However, there are no upgrades in terms of performance equipment for the 2024 Nissan X-Trail in the US market. The North American version of this SUV model continues to be powered by the VC-Turbo turbocharged petrol engine with a displacement of 1.5L, delivering a maximum power of 201 horsepower and a peak torque of 305 Nm. Unlike the European and Japanese markets, the US version does not offer the e-Power hybrid drivetrain.

Nissan has not yet announced the official pricing for the new X-Trail. The SUV is expected to be available at US dealerships in early 2024.
