Hennessey has recently introduced the VelociRaptor 500 modification based on the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor, boasting a power output of up to 500 horsepower.

The Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 is a modification based on the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor, which was recently launched in the US market. True to its name, the VelociRaptor 500 delivers an impressive power output of up to 500 horsepower, accompanied by 745 lb-ft of torque, surpassing the stock version by 95 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque. This impressive performance is achieved through various upgrades done by Hennessey, including a high-performance air intake, a larger intercooler, and a new engine control unit (ECU) software for the EcoBoost V6 3.0L engine on the Ranger Raptor. The vehicle is also equipped with front and rear limited-slip differentials and a 2-speed auxiliary transmission.

Moreover, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 still retains its notable features such as the active exhaust system, 64mm Fox “Live Valve” shock absorbers, and a drive mode selector offering various modes including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, Baja, and Tow-Haul modes. The active exhaust system offers different mode settings including Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Off-Road (Baja) modes.

On the exterior, the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 is enhanced with new front and rear bumpers featuring integrated auxiliary LED lights. This modified model comes with 17-inch Hennessey wheels and 33-inch BFGoodrich off-road tires as standard. Inside the cabin, the VelociRaptor 500 seats showcase Hennessey logos on the headrests. The vehicle’s serial number can be found in both the engine compartment and the interior space.

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor starts at $56,960 in the US (approximately 1.33 billion VND). Meanwhile, the price for the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 upgrade package reaches $24,950 (about 585 million VND). The Ranger Raptor 2023 is also available in Vietnam, starting from 1.299 billion VND. However, unlike the US version, the Vietnam variant comes solely with a 2.0L diesel engine producing 207 horsepower.
