At the start of 2020, the arrival of the first Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R in Vietnam caused quite a sensation. And now, Kawasaki is introducing a new version of the Ninja ZX-25R with an incredibly stylish color option. This will surely bring a breath of fresh air to the 250cc segment.
The design language of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R 2023 will be familiar to enthusiasts of the Japanese brand who have admired previous generations of the Ninja, such as the ZX-6R, ZX-10R, and even the new generation Ninja 250 with 400.
The front of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R features a sharp angular design with a triangular air vent in the center. This unique detail, which enhances aerodynamics, is only found on models with higher performance and engine displacement, like the ZX-6R and ZX-10R.
In 2023, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R returns with a new fairing and several upgrades. These include LED turn signals, the ability to connect to your phone through the Rideology App, Circuit Mode, adjustable front forks, and an improved exhaust shape and position.
This sport bike is equipped with rider assistance technologies such as a Quick Shifter system, ABS braking system, and Kawasaki’s 3-level traction control (KTRC), which is integrated with multiple riding modes. The LCD display can also be connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
Powering the 2023 Ninja ZX-25R is a liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 250cc. It is the only bike in its segment to feature a 4-cylinder engine.
This vehicle can produce a maximum power of 47 horsepower at 15,500 rpm and a peak torque of 22 Nm at 12,500 rpm. Kawasaki claims that the ZX-25R can reach speeds of up to 197 km/h.
The weight of the 2023 Ninja ZX-25R is a mere 184 kg. Its dimensions are as follows: length 1,980 mm, width 750 mm, and height 1,110 mm. With a short wheelbase of 1,380 mm, this bike offers exceptional agility. The seat height of 785 mm is suitable for the majority of Asian body types.
The Ninja ZX-25R features upside-down front forks with a diameter of 37 mm and a rear link-type suspension system. Notably, the forks of the 2023 version can be adjusted for preload, catering to the individual needs of riders.
The most significant change is the position and shape of the exhaust. The Ninja ZX-25R is equipped with an exhaust system that meets Japan’s current Euro 4 emission standards and incorporates sound-reducing technology. Unlike its predecessors, the 2023 model has the exhaust pipe positioned closer to the engine, similar to the Ninja ZX-10R. This design change enhances performance and produces cleaner exhaust emissions.
