2023 Release of Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition Competes with BMW Motorrad F850GS

Husqvarna Motorcycles recently introduced the bold and adventurous Norden 901 Expedition 2023 motorcycle. The Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2023 is based on the standard version, but comes equipped with a completely redesigned WP XPLOR off-road suspension system, offering a travel of 240 mm at both the front and rear.

This version also includes Technical Accessories such as heated handlebars and seats, as well as a 36-liter side bag. The rider is further protected and able to reduce fatigue with the newly equipped Touring windscreen.

The Norden 901 Expedition 2023 shares the same trellis frame as the standard Norden 901, and is powered by a parallel twin-cylinder 889 cc engine that produces 105 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. The engine guard is now a standard feature, and the new center stand provides stability when parking on rough terrain.

With this power, the Husqvarna Norden 901 will be a competitor to the BMW Motorrad F850GS, which delivers 95 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm.

For riding support, the Norden 901 Expedition offers 4 selectable riding modes: Street, Rain, Off-road, and Explorer. The optional Husqvarna Easy Shifter mode and responsive traction control system with 9 adjustable levels in Explorer mode enhance the riding experience.

Above the handlebars, a TFT-LCD display is featured, which can connect to a smartphone for turn-by-turn navigation, call management, and music control through the handlebar controls.

The Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel, an 18-inch rear wheel, and a 19-liter fuel tank, providing a travel range of 400 km. In Vietnam, the standard version of the Norden 901 is priced at 699 million VND.
