The GLS 2024 has undergone some notable exterior design changes. These include a redesigned grille, updated front air intakes inspired by the new GLE, and a new taillight cluster. The GLS is also equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in Himalayas Grey.

Moving inside, the interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLS 2024 has received some upgrades as well. The MBUX infotainment system has been updated and can now be personalized in three different styles. The system also integrates an Off-Road mode, which displays detailed information about slope, lateral inclination, compass, and steering angle.

Models equipped with the Parking Package and 360-degree camera have a ‘transparent bonnet’ function, allowing the driver to see through the bonnet. Additionally, the GLS 2024 features a new Trailer Maneuvering Assist steering angle control feature.

The upgraded GLS comes with a standard 7-seat configuration and offers two new leather colors. The interior also features standard high-gloss brown wood trim panels and high-gloss black piano lacquer details inherited from the Maybach GLS 600.

The Off-Road Engineering Package has been updated and includes underbody protection panels and an additional 30mm ground clearance.

In Europe, the GLS 2024 is available in several versions, including the GLS 450 4Matic, GLS 580 4Matic, GLS 350d 4Matic, and GLS 450d 4Matic. These models offer different power outputs and torque figures, ranging from 381 horsepower and 500 Nm to 517 horsepower and 730 Nm. All models feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that provides additional power and torque.
