Recently, car enthusiasts and residents of Ho Chi Minh City were treated to a spectacular display of luxury cars from the renowned car collector, Hoang Kim Khanh. The collection, worth over 200 billion VND, was transported from the owner’s residence to the company’s location, before being showcased at a prestigious hotel known as the “supercar sanctuary of Saigon” in celebration of the owner’s wife’s birthday.

Unfortunately, one highly anticipated addition to the collection was absent – a 200 billion VND Koenigsegg Regera owned by a cosmetic entrepreneur, which couldn’t make it in time for the event.

Nevertheless, car enthusiasts were still captivated by the owner’s new fleet of supercars. One standout was the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, bearing the license plate number 88668. Interestingly, it seems the owner already had the license plate number in mind and had it specially chosen for the car, as it was originally associated with the license plate 51H. This unique vehicle, estimated to be worth over 40 billion VND, is the first SF90 Stradale with a white license plate in Vietnam.

The SF90 Stradale, apart from shimmering in a distinctive yellow color, boasts a personalized interior with striking black and red accents. Equipped with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, combining a turbocharged V8 4.0L engine with three electric motors, it generates a total output of 986 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This impressive power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

Another marvel is the Porsche 911 Turbo S, a 2-door vehicle that shares the exceptional performance of renowned supercars. Valued at nearly 16 billion VND, this vehicle stands out with its unique gray exterior, setting it apart from the rest of the cars on the Vietnamese market.

Underneath the hood, the Porsche 911 Turbo S boasts a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, which generates a maximum power of 640 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This German powerhouse can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.7 seconds.

Another vehicle in the collection, though it may not have garnered as much attention, is a rare sports car purchased by a wealthy individual from Hai Duong in mid-2023. While it may not boast a flashy design, its inconspicuous yellow paint belies its worth of over 8 billion VND, excluding delivery costs. This car, the Morgan Plus Six 2023, features a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that produces 335 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

Still in high demand among car enthusiasts since its arrival in Vietnam two years ago as a birthday gift for the owner’s wife in 2021, the McLaren Senna remains a sought-after hypercar due to its rarity worldwide and in Vietnam. With only 500 units produced, its value has been on the rise. Upon its arrival in Vietnam, rumors circulated that the car cost about 40 billion VND, despite being registered with a Cambodian license plate.

Apart from the cars mentioned above, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu also owns a regular variant of the McLaren Senna.

Another prominent vehicle in the collection is the Lamborghini Aventador S, which holds the distinction of being the first Lamborghini to arrive in Vietnam. Having undergone some modifications, including the removal of the rear wings and engine cover and the addition of original parts, the Aventador S boasts an appearance that’s slightly less aggressive. However, the front lip, side skirts, Vossen wheels, and Ryft exhaust system have remained unchanged.

Under the elegant hood rests the car’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, which generates a maximum power of 730 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. With such power, the Aventador S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.

Despite being in the owner’s possession for six years, the Aventador S still commands an estimated value of over 30 billion VND.

Also gracing the birthday celebration was the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, which the wealthy individual from Hai Duong acquired for no less than 30 billion VND from a private import unit. Similar to the SF90, this is the first white-plate Ferrari 488 Pista in Vietnam.

The car has been fitted with Brixton Forged wheels worth hundreds of millions VND, with the owner’s name personalized on them. The 488 Pista features the most potent V8 engine in the history of Ferrari, delivering an impressive output of 710 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds, with a top speed of 340 km/h.

Other sports and luxury cars that graced the event included the Aston Martin V8 Vantage AMR, BMW 428i Convertible, Cadillac Escalade, Bentley Bentayga, and Bentley Mulsanne. The total value of these cars reached no less than 70 billion VND.
