If we were to stumble upon a 1981 Lamborghini Countach and a red Ferrari 308 in our dusty family garage, each of us would probably be rendered speechless for a few moments. This was the exact reaction of Reddit user eriegin when he unexpectedly uncovered these priceless treasures forgotten within his own garage.
In addition to the Lamborghini Countach, eriegin also stumbled upon a red Ferrari 308 – one of the most iconic Ferrari models of the late ’70s and early ’80s. According to eriegin, his grandfather used to operate a supercar business during this time period. Unfortunately, high maintenance and insurance costs led to the closure of the company, resulting in the abandonment and subsequent neglect of some supercars, including the aforementioned models.
After sitting untouched and covered in dust for 20 years, both of these Italian supercars will require special attention and care if they are to be brought back to life on the open road. Eriegin plans to enlist the services of a professional to restore the interiors and engines of both vehicles to their original condition. Simultaneously, he aims to preserve the exterior as a testament to this incredible and true story, while also giving each car a unique identity and personal touch.
