When it comes to exterior design, the Isuzu D-Max facelift 2024 introduces a fresh new front end with sleeker headlights, complemented by a new gray or black chrome-colored grille, and an integrated lower bumper featuring air intakes for improved aerodynamics.

Additional exterior updates include updated LED taillights, a new wheel design, and more pronounced wheel arches.

Inside the cabin, the Isuzu D-Max facelift now comes with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, ventilated front seats, an expanded 7-inch digital instrument cluster (up from 4.2 inches), and both USB-C ports in the front and rear, replacing the previous USB-A ports.

While the 7 or 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system remains unchanged, it has been updated with new software and now supports wireless Android Auto connectivity. The seats are also adorned with new brown/black leather upholstery featuring copper stitching.

It’s worth noting that the Chinese-manufactured D-Max boasts additional features such as a digital instrument cluster, wide screen infotainment system, rear disc brakes, coil spring suspension, and wireless phone charging. However, these upgrades have not been adopted for the Thailand-spec facelifted D-Max.

The 2024 Isuzu D-Max facelift is equipped with a “rough terrain mode” designed for off-road driving, which enhances braking and torque distribution for optimal traction during mountain climbs. It also features an automatic rear differential lock.

In terms of safety equipment, there appear to be minimal changes compared to the previous model. However, Isuzu claims that the front camera now offers a “wider and more accurate” field of view.

Powering the 2024 Isuzu D-Max facelift is a choice of either a 1.9L 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 148 horsepower and 350Nm of torque, or a 3.0L 4-cylinder engine churning out 188 horsepower and 450Nm of torque. Both engine options can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, and are available in 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive configurations.

In the Thai market, the 2024 Isuzu D-Max is priced between 540,000 – 1,264,000 baht, which is approximately equivalent to 356-834 million dong.
