After nearly two weeks of bidding, license plate 36A – 999.99 has been successfully auctioned off for a price of 5.285 billion VND. The tycoon who won the bid has fulfilled all financial obligations and is now awaiting the handover of the VIP license plate.
License plate 36A – 999.99 was auctioned for the second time by Vietnam Mart (VPA) Auction Company on October 25. After one hour of bidding, this special license plate, which features the number 99999 and the province of Thanh Hoa, was acquired by a female tycoon who placed the highest bid of 5.285 billion VND. It is worth noting that the tycoon has already made the full payment of 5.245 billion VND (excluding the 40 million VND deposit) on November 9, 2023.
Previously, license plate 36A – 999.99 had been auctioned off with a price of 7.47 billion VND in a bidding session held on September 15. However, the winning bidder failed to fulfill the financial obligations.
It is currently unknown which vehicle this super VIP license plate will be registered for. Some speculate that it will be attached to a supercar or a luxury car, as only such a vehicle would be deemed “worthy” of this prestigious license plate.
