The Hai Phong City Police have identified a group of individuals who were involved in dangerous driving activities at high speeds in the coastal area of Cat Ba to Tan Vu – Lach Huyen road.
In the afternoon of October 15, a group of young men were seen driving motorcycles with large displacements at high speeds, causing noise and performing dangerous actions such as drifting, wheelies, and knee slides on multiple streets in Cat Ba town.
These individuals recorded videos of their activities and posted them on social media, gaining thousands of views and shares. According to the shared clips, the motorcycle riders reached speeds of up to 277 km/h on certain segments of the road.
Upon receiving this information, the leaders of Hai Phong City Police immediately requested the traffic police, cyber security units, and local police forces to investigate the identities of those involved in violating traffic safety laws.
Through their investigation, the police have identified Nguyen Van T. (born in 1994) from Trang Viet, Me Linh, Hanoi as the motorcycle rider who recorded and uploaded the video on social media. On September 9, T. and his group of friends engaged in wheelies during their trip.
The police have also identified the individuals who rode the large-displacement motorcycles and participated in the wheelie stunt with T. on that day.
