The Honda CB750 Hornet is now available in the Southeast Asian market, starting with Thailand. This new model, launched a few months ago, is priced at 319,000 Thai baht (equivalent to 217 million Vietnamese dong). The design of the 2023 Honda CB750 Hornet is simple yet impressive. It shares many similarities with its younger sibling, the CB500F, particularly in the front headlight cluster. However, the CB750 Hornet features a more compact and angular design. The tail of the bike also resembles that of the CB500F, with separate turn signal lights that protrude outwards.
When it comes to suspension, the CB750 Hornet is equipped with 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks (Separate Function Fork Big Piston) in the front. At the rear, the bike features a damper connected to the steel swingarm through the Pro-Link system, which offers 5 levels of preload adjustment.
In terms of braking performance, the new Honda CB750 Hornet is fitted with dual front discs measuring 296mm, accompanied by Nissin 4-piston calipers. The rear wheel features a single 240mm disc with a single piston caliper, and it comes with a 2-channel ABS system as standard.
According to Honda, the CB750 Hornet features a lightweight frame and a more compact design, weighing around 16.6 kg. This makes it 1.9 kg lighter than the CB650R.
The all-new Honda CB750 Hornet is powered by a parallel-twin engine with a displacement of 755cc. This liquid-cooled engine features an overhead camshaft and is capable of producing 90 horsepower at 9,500 rpm, along with 74.4 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that is equipped with an assist slipper clutch.
When it comes to technology, the 2023 Honda CB750 Hornet comes with Throttle By Wire as a standard feature. It also boasts 4 riding modes (RAIN, STANDARD, SPORT, and CUSTOM) for a personalized riding experience. Additionally, the bike features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and integrated wheel control with customizable settings. It also offers smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app.
