On the morning of October 25, 2023, Honda officially launched the latest generation CR-V in the Vietnamese market, offering four versions: G, L, L AWD, and e:HEV RS. The prices range from 1.109 to 1.31 billion VND, making the 2024 Honda CR-V the highest-priced SUV in its segment, competing with D-segment SUVs.
Despite the high prices, the new CR-V is selling rapidly in dealerships. A sales consultant at a dealership revealed that customers who want to immediately get the Honda CR-V 2024 e:HEV RS need to purchase additional accessories worth 50 million VND. The e:HEV RS is the second most expensive version of the CR-V, priced at 1.259 billion VND.
In previous years, especially in 2022 when there was a shortage of components, it was not uncommon for cars to be sold with additional accessories at dealerships. However, due to the economic recession, the Vietnamese auto market has been less active in 2023. As a result, car manufacturers and dealers have been actively running promotions and offering discounts to attract customers. Therefore, the quick sales of the newly launched Honda CR-V 2024 at dealerships have surprised many people.
