The Land Rover Defender is not only one of the best off-road vehicles available today, but it also quickly establishes itself as a prestigious icon, much like its rival, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Mansory, a renowned tuning company, has recently released a tuning package for the Land Rover Defender, focusing mainly on aesthetic upgrades as well as engine enhancements.
The modified version of the Defender, known as the Land Rover Defender V8 Black Edition, lives up to its name by sporting a sleek black finish. Mansory has also crafted an impressive new bodykit for the Defender, complete with a redesigned black grille and additional air intakes.
Noteworthy enhancements include prominent air vents and new LED fog lights. Mansory has also added orange/bronze decorative accents to the Defender, along with a lightweight carbon fiber hood featuring a prominent Mansory logo. The roof is adorned with additional LED lights.
On the sides of the vehicle, one can admire the striking black 24-inch wheels complemented by 295/30 tires. However, it’s important to note that these wheels and tires are more suitable for driving on flat roads rather than challenging off-road terrains.
At the rear, notable highlights include double rear spoilers mounted on the tail, a more aggressive diffuser, and a sporty quad exhaust system, adding an extra touch of dynamism and style.
The interior of the vehicle has also undergone refinements. Soft black Alcantara material now covers the seats, dashboard, center console, and headliner, while contrasting orange stitching adds a touch of elegance to the cabin.
Notably, the Land Rover Defender’s ceiling has been specially crafted by Mansory, inspired by the Rolls-Royce starry sky theme, adding a unique touch to the interior ambiance.
In addition to the aesthetic upgrades, the vehicle has also received a series of enhancements for its 5.0L V8 engine, boosting the power output to an impressive 650 horsepower and the maximum torque to 870 Nm. With this power, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
