The upgraded Kia Carnival model in the mid-life cycle has recently been unveiled by the Korean carmaker, featuring a refreshed exterior design.

The most noticeable changes can be observed in the front and rear of the 2024 Carnival. The front fascia showcases a new radiator grille, along with vertical headlights, reminiscent of the EV9 SUV model and Kia Morning.

Additionally, the fog lights, which were previously located at the corners of the car’s front, have been repositioned on both sides of the center air intake. This complements the new front spoiler and creates a more modern look.

The 2024 Kia Carnival also boasts newly designed and elaborate wheels, enhancing its overall strong and agile appearance.

The rear of the vehicle features vertically designed taillights, similar to the headlights, with a slim strip of light connecting them. The rear spoiler and tailgate design have been updated to ensure a more cohesive and harmonious look.

As part of the mid-life cycle upgrade, a new variant called the Gravity edition has been introduced. This version includes unique features such as a distinct radiator grille, exclusive alloy wheels, roof rack, chrome trims on the C-pillar/door/tailgate, and metal-colored front/rear skid plates.

Although the interior of the car has not been revealed, leaked images suggest that the facelifted Kia Carnival will offer various upgrades, including a curved 12.3-inch screen, the latest generation integrated infotainment system, a Head-Up Display, fingerprint scanning technology, Ergo Motion Seats, and Highway Driving Assistance 2.

The exact details of the drivetrain for the facelifted Kia Carnival are still undisclosed.

Speculations suggest that it will continue to offer gasoline and diesel engine options, alongside a hybrid powertrain consisting of a turbocharged 1.6L gasoline engine and an electric motor, potentially similar to the powertrain of the 2024 Kia Sorento.

Pre-orders for the 2024 Carnival are expected to commence in November in Kia’s home country of Korea, with the exact pricing yet to be announced.

In Vietnam, the Kia Carnival is currently available in five versions, ranging from 1.209 to 1.834 billion VND, encompassing four diesel engine variants and one gasoline engine variant.

As one of Kia’s flagship models in Vietnam, the facelifted Carnival is likely to be introduced in the country soon.
