The petrol versions of the new generation Honda CR-V all come equipped with a turbocharged 1.5L VTEC engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 188 Hp (140 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 240 Nm within the range of 1,700 – 5,000 rpm.

For the hybrid variant, the Honda CR-V offers the e:HEV RS model, which combines two electric motors with a 2.0L internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine and hybrid motor generate a maximum power of 146 Hp (109 kW) at 6,100 rpm and 181 Hp (135 kW) at 4,500 rpm, respectively. When operating together, they can produce a maximum power of up to 204 Hp (152 kW).
The Honda CR-V e:HEV RS is equipped with an E-CVT gearbox, including a generator motor with a speed of 19,000 rpm, which charges the battery when needed and assists in motor operation. The towing motor, with a maximum speed of 14,500 rpm, delivers a pulling force of 335 Nm.
