In this latest sighting, the new LED headlight design on the facelifted Kia Carnival is clearly visible. The headlights now run vertically, accompanied by horizontal LED daytime running lights.
One of the standout features of the 2024 Kia Carnival is its eye-catching wheel design, reminiscent of concept cars.
The rear end of the 2024 Kia Carnival is still heavily camouflaged, concealing most of its details. However, the taillights can be seen featuring a reversed L-shaped graphic, a departure from the current horizontal taillight design.
When it comes to the new Carnival, expect a range of impressive features and specifications including automatic sliding doors, a panoramic sunroof, a spacious interior, and an SUV-inspired design language. The technology-filled interior will also offer an ADAS system.
The engine options for the facelifted Kia Carnival are likely to remain unchanged from the current version. In South Korea, the fourth-generation Carnival is available with a choice of 3.5L gasoline and 2.2L diesel engines.
However, there are rumors suggesting that the updated Carnival may introduce a hybrid variant, possibly borrowed from the Kia Sorento. The Sorento Hybrid currently offers a combined power output of 227 horsepower, while the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid delivers 261 horsepower. Both models utilize a turbocharged 1.6-liter T-GDi engine combined with an electric motor and different capacity batteries.
Furthermore, Kia plans to enhance the facelifted Carnival with additional features that were not available at the launch of the fourth-generation model. These may include a Head-Up Display (HUD), Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2), a pair of curved 12-inch screens, fingerprint recognition, and Ergo Motion Seats from the EV9.
The official debut of the 2024 Kia Carnival will take place in South Korea later this year, followed by other markets in early next year.
