The newly released 2024 Kia K5 Facelift has been designed specifically for the Korean market, but similar updates may also be introduced to the global version. This upgraded version of the Kia K5 showcases redesigned headlights and taillights, inspired by Kia’s latest electric models, as well as a larger faux air intake in the front bumper.
At the rear, we can observe the new exhaust system along with a range of new alloy wheel designs, ranging from 16 to 19 inches in size. Furthermore, the car is now available in two additional exterior colors: Wolf Gray and Moonscape Matte Gray.
One of the most prominent upgrades can be found inside the cabin, where the dashboard has undergone a revamp with the addition of two curved screens. Moreover, the central control area has been redesigned to achieve a more streamlined and modern look, with the gear lever replaced by a compact rotary knob.
The 2024 Kia K5 is also equipped with high-resolution front and rear cameras capable of recording and storing footage. Additional enhancements include a new head-up display (HUD) screen, improved sound insulation materials, and network support for software updates.
In the Korean market, the 2024 Kia K5 offers several engine options: a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 160 horsepower, a 1.6L turbocharged engine producing 180 horsepower, a 2.0L LPI (liquified petroleum injection) engine producing 146 horsepower, and a 2.0L hybrid engine producing 152 horsepower.
The starting price for the 2024 Kia K5 in the domestic market is 27,840,000 won, which is approximately 20,500 USD.
