Lexus presents the future of electric vehicles at Japan Mobility Show 2023
Lexus is set to make its first appearance at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, happening from October 26th to November 5th, with the exciting theme "Discover the Future - A Desirable Ambition!"
The Lexus booth at the exhibition showcases the theme “Pushing the boundaries of the electrified experience.” This is achieved by introducing a concept for the next-generation pure electric vehicle, aligning with the brand’s goal of becoming a fully electric vehicle brand by 2035.
The booth stands out with traditional Japanese art decorations made from durable and eco-friendly bamboo, showcasing the brand’s commitment to a carbon-neutral society.
In addition to the concept cars, visitors can also try the “Lexus Electrified Experience,” a virtual reality driving simulator. This simulator offers a glimpse into the future of driving, where electrification and AI assist in meeting unique customer needs and connecting with society.
Visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a virtual reality space, experiencing personalized driving and the luxurious lifestyle that Lexus is dedicated to providing.
Toyota and Lexus are set to introduce automatic braking systems as a standard feature on almost all of their vehicle models by the end of 2017, which is four years ahead of the recent requirement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the United States.
In the 1970s and 1980s, the idea of “luxury Japanese cars” was still unfamiliar to Americans. However, just a decade later, Americans had to change their perception of manufacturers from the “land of the rising sun.”
Contrasting the ridiculous situation in Vietnam where many electric vehicle owners are not allowed to charge their vehicles in buildings, numerous developed countries around the world have legislated “the right to charge” to ensure the benefits of residents in apartment complexes.
Off-road enthusiasts may be disappointed to learn that the Land Cruiser EV is developed on a solid body-on-frame platform instead of a separate chassis.
