The Lynk & Co 06 model features an updated design language inspired by its larger sibling, the 08 model. Notable design updates include reshaped split headlights, a refined bumper, and slimmer LED taillights. The grille has also been narrowed down, adding to the SUV’s sleek and modern appearance.
The interior of the Lynk & Co 06 EM-P is equipped with a large independent touchscreen entertainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The central control panel has been streamlined, eliminating physical buttons for a cleaner and more minimalist look. The air vents have also been slimmed down, further enhancing the overall tidiness of the cabin. Instead of a traditional gear lever, the car now features a wireless charging dock and a larger storage compartment. Additionally, the front sun visors are made of transparent glass with a dark tint.
The Lynk & Co 06 EM-P retains a similar size to its predecessor, positioning it in the small SUV segment with a length of 4,350 mm. Its wheelbase measures 2,640 mm, which is shared with other Geely models such as the Icon, Binyue, and Emgrand. Mechanically, they all utilize the B-segment Modular Architecture (BMA), ensuring a reliable and robust performance.
Powering the Lynk & Co 06 EM-P is a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with dual electric motors. With a total output of 295 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque, it boasts more power compared to other petrol or hybrid variants of the upcoming Lynk & Co 06. The battery pack has a capacity of 19.1 kWh, enabling an impressive electric-only driving range of 102 km according to CLTC protocol.
The Lynk & Co 06 is set to launch in China by the end of 2023, with an estimated starting price of around $24,670 (approximately 600 million VND). Car enthusiasts in China can expect a high-performing and stylish SUV that combines cutting-edge technology with environmentally-friendly features.
