Billionaire Pham Tran Nhat Minh has officially put his “wind god” Pagani Huayra up for sale, confirming previous rumors. This comes after his recent acquisition of the exclusive McLaren Elva.
Minh Nhua, the billionaire car enthusiast who spent 190 billion VND to add the McLaren Elva to his garage, continues to make waves in the automotive community with the announcement of the sale of the only Pagani Huayra in Vietnam.
The price at which this supercar will be sold remains unknown. However, it is rumored that the initial cost of the Pagani Huayra was a staggering 78 billion VND upon its arrival in the country.
In reality, the only individual with the financial capability to purchase the “wind god” from the billionaire plastic tycoon is likely the biggest car collector in Vietnam. Nevertheless, it remains uncertain whether this individual has any interest in acquiring the Huayra.
This isn’t the first time that the business tycoon has opted for a “out with the old, in with the new” approach. Prior to the arrival of the million-dollar Huayra in Vietnam, the plastic tycoon bid farewell to the “speed king” Bugatti Veyron.
The Pagani Huayra initially made its global debut in 2013 and remained limited to a production run of just 100 units worldwide. The particular vehicle owned by Pham Tran Nhat Minh made its way to Vietnam in 2016, but it wasn’t until 2018 that it was officially registered.
The Pagani Huayra boasts a completely handcrafted carbon fiber body, making it a triumph of carbon fiber engineering. A total of 15 different types of carbon fibers were utilized in the car’s construction.
The cockpit of the Pagani Huayra emulates the style of a fighter jet and is built around an aluminum and carbon fiber frame. The leather seats, equipped with adjustable knobs, are situated directly below the seating position.
Located behind the steering wheel is a multifunctional screen flanked by 4 analog gauges. The accelerator and brake pedals are fashioned out of solid aluminum.
The gearbox of the Pagani Huayra stands as one of the automotive industry’s most distinctive creations. Comprising of 67 different parts, the design of the gearbox took the company’s engineers over 6 months of meticulous refinement to achieve the perfect feel and sound, enhancing the overall experience of shifting gears.
Powering the Pagani Huayra is a twin-turbocharged V12 engine with a displacement of 6 liters, bearing the code-name M158, generating an impressive 720 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. This power is transmitted through a 7-speed sequential single-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-97 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
