In the Philippines market, the all-new Triton will be available in 7 different variants, with prices ranging from PHP 1,134 million to PHP 1,915 million for the highest-end version (equivalent to VND 490-828 million).
Under the hood, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton variant in the Philippines is equipped with a new 2.4L turbo-diesel engine. The highest-end Athlete variant boasts a maximum power of 204 PS and a peak torque of 470 Nm, while the single turbo variant delivers 184 PS and 430 Nm of torque.
In addition to the engine, the 2024 Triton features a completely redesigned chassis and platform to provide enhanced handling. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Similar to the Thai version, the Philippines edition of the Triton also comes equipped with the Active Yaw Control active cornering control system, along with the Super Select II 4WD system and 7 driving modes.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Triton is now equipped with a multi-angle view screen to enhance surround visibility. The car is equipped with a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including forward collision warning, automatic headlights, blind spot monitoring with lane change assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and hill start assist.
Noteworthy interior features of the 2024 Triton include an entertainment system with a new 8-inch and 9-inch touchscreen. All variants will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity, with premium models featuring wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The available exterior color options include Blade Silver, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, Yamabuki Orange, White Diamond, and White Solid.
The Mitsubishi Triton 2024 will be officially launched in the Philippines on January 25th of next year.
