The 5th generation Toyota RAV4 was unveiled in 2018 and it’s time for this compact SUV to receive an upgrade. While there is no official information from the Japanese automaker yet, there are naturally plenty of rumors circulating regarding potential upgrades for the vehicle.

Recently, the Youtube channel Q Cars has released a design concept for the upcoming Toyota RAV4 generation, providing enthusiasts with a glimpse of possible exterior changes that might be made.

Based on the concept images, it is apparent that the next generation Toyota RAV4 will feature a more sophisticated and premium exterior compared to its current iteration. The large front grille, along with the new headlights and sturdy front bumper, contribute to the Toyota RAV4’s fresh, modern, and sporty appearance.

Both sides of the vehicle are accentuated by eye-catching and sporty alloy wheels. Q Cars has presented a variety of wheel designs for the new Toyota RAV4, all of which are impressive.

The rear end of the vehicle grabs attention with its newly extended LED taillights, following the current trend in design. The rear windows have also been redesigned. When viewed from the back, this Toyota RAV4 exhibits a sleek coupe-like shape, similar to that of coupe SUV models.

Although I am fond of this new design style for the 2025 Toyota RAV4, it is likely that Toyota will adopt a more conservative approach by evolving rather than completely overhauling the 6th generation RAV4, in order to maintain its appeal to a wider range of traditional customers.
