Recently, the Kia Carnival facelift MPV model has been spotted testing on the road and images of the vehicle have been leaked.
From the test run images, it is evident that the Kia Carnival facelift draws design inspiration from its “brother” model, EV9. The front of the car is highlighted by a new vertical headlight cluster, with LED daytime running lights running horizontally under the bumper. At the rear, the taillight cluster spans the width of the car, creating a more imposing and majestic appearance.
In this lifecycle upgrade, the Carnival facelift will also feature a new set of sporty and sturdy wheels.
The interior of the car is the most anticipated area for changes. It is speculated that the car will include additional features such as a HUD display, curved 12-inch screens, fingerprint recognition, Ergo Motion Seats, automatic sliding doors, and a sunroof.
It is highly likely that the Kia Carnival facelift will continue to offer a 3.5L petrol engine and a 2.2L diesel engine.
In addition, the company will introduce a hybrid powertrain, which combines a turbocharged 1.6L petrol engine with an electric motor. This hybrid system will be paired with a new 8-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive system.
The car is expected to be officially launched in South Korea by the end of this year and will be available in other markets in early 2024. Detailed information about the car and its pricing has not been disclosed yet.
