On October 20, 2023, VinFast initiated the acceptance of deposits and commenced test drives for the VF 6. This extraordinary electric vehicle constitutes the fifth strategic addition to the brand’s pure electric mobility ecosystem, characterized by its high-end and contemporary mid-range design.

During the period from October 20 to October 30, 2023, customers who reserve the VF 6 with a deposit will be eligible for a discount of up to 20 million VND, along with a year-long complimentary public charging service for trailblazers.

Deposits for the VF 6 can be placed at any VinFast showroom or authorized distributor throughout the country. Alternatively, customers can utilize the official website: https://reserve.vinfastauto.com/. The exhibition and test drive program for the VF 6 will commence in Hanoi on October 20, followed by Ho Chi Minh City on October 21. A non-refundable deposit of 30 million VND per car is required for reservation.

The VF 6 integrates seamlessly within Vietnam’s pure electric mobility system, offered in two models: Base and Plus. The Base version is priced at 675 million VND (excluding battery) or 765 million VND (including battery). On the other hand, the Plus model is available for 765 million VND (excluding battery) or 855 million VND (including battery).

For individuals who place a deposit during the exclusive “Pioneers” period (October 20-30, 2023) and complete the purchase within three months of VinFast’s initial delivery of the VF 6, the price will be reduced by an additional 20 million VND per car. This offer is void in the event of a change in ownership during the vehicle purchase process.

Of note, for users who opt to rent the battery, the monthly cost is set at 1.8 million VND for individuals driving less than 3,000 km/month, or 3 million VND for those surpassing this mileage threshold (unlimited km). Consequently, electric vehicle users who rent the battery will benefit from significantly lower energy costs compared to traditional gasoline-powered cars.

Furthermore, VinFast provides additional incentives to VF 6 buyers by waiving the registration fee for electric vehicles. Ultimately, this means that the on-road price will be equivalent to the purchase price of the vehicle. It is expected that the VF 6 will begin delivery to customers by the end of 2023.

Despite being classified as a mid-range automobile, the VF 6 features a stylish, elegant, and contemporary design. Underpinning the design philosophy of “The Duality In Nature” by Torino Design, a renowned global design studio, the VF 6 emanates a distinct European aesthetic, and offers an array of color options including five exterior colors and two interior colors. The modern appearance of the VF 6 is further accentuated by its distinctive LED light strip, dual chrome trim running along the vehicle’s body, and the largest 19-inch alloy wheels offered in both the B and C segments.

With dimensions measuring 4,238 x 1,820 x 1,594 (mm) in length, width, and height, respectively, coupled with a wheelbase of up to 2,730 mm, the VF 6 boasts an optimal interior space equivalent to models in the C segment owing to its electric vehicle platform, making it an excellent choice for modern families.

Both the Base and Plus versions of the VF 6 are equipped with a 59.6 kWh LFP battery which, after a full charge, provides an operating range of 399 km for the Base variant and 381 km for the Plus variant (according to the WLTP standard). Powered by an electric motor, the VF 6 delivers a maximum power output of 100 kW and 150 kW, along with a peak torque of 135 Nm and 310 Nm, respectively. These specifications ensure a spirited and responsive driving experience catering to the diverse needs of customers, while delivering cost savings. The estimated energy cost per km for the VF 6 is approximately 480 VND, representing a 3-5 times lower cost compared to gasoline-powered cars in the B and C segments.

Leveraging the inherent characteristics of electric vehicles, the VF 6 surpasses its competitors in the B and C segments both in terms of equipment, safety technology, and smart features. A comprehensive software update is planned for the VF 6 Plus variant in early 2024, ensuring that advanced driving assistance features such as traffic jam assist, highway driving assist, lane keeping assist and centering, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and front/rear emergency braking are seamlessly integrated.

Moreover, the VF 6 boasts cutting-edge technology and smart features, including the VinFast virtual assistant with multi-dialect Vietnamese voice interaction, vehicle control, Q&A, and comedy storytelling.

Similar to other VinFast electric vehicle models, the VF 6 benefits from an exceptional after-sales policy, featuring a 7-year or 160,000 km official warranty (whichever comes first), an 8-year unlimited km battery warranty, 24/7 roadside assistance, mobile repair service, 24/7 mobile charging service, among other services. VinFast also offers special support policies for manufacturing defects that may inconvenience users, as well as a commitment to repurchase used electric vehicles after 5 years, ensuring optimal benefits and peace of mind for customers.

The VF 6 exhibition and test drive event will take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from October 20-22, 2023. On Vietnamese Women’s Day, participants in the test drive will receive meaningful gifts and have the opportunity to take advantage of the early deposit discount, valued at 20 million VND.

Further details regarding the VF 6 exhibition and test drive schedule will be announced on VinFast’s official Fanpage, located at: https://www.facebook.com/VinFastAuto.Official.
