The car inherits the signature gentle DNA from its predecessors VF 7, VF 8, and even the VinFast Lux A/SA, rather than having a square shape like the VF 3, VF 5, or VF 9. Despite weighing about 1.5 tons – equivalent to gasoline-powered cars in the same segment and lighter than its sibling VF 8 by 1 ton – the VF 6 offers optimized performance in terms of acceleration and fuel economy.
Inside the car, the VinFast VF 6 features a minimalist interior design, minimizing physical buttons and combining everything into a single integrated infotainment screen located in the middle of the dashboard. The driver’s position offers a flat-bottomed steering wheel with all entertainment and smart driving support functions integrated. The gear shift cluster is conveniently arranged horizontally below the screen. Thanks to the large wheelbase, the VF 6 provides a comfortable and spacious interior space compared to its B-segment counterparts.
The VinFast VF 6 offers a wide field of view with wide side mirrors. The Plus version comes with full ADAS safety support package and other convenient options, while the Eco version reduces some equipment. The driving experience of the VF 6 Plus version is impressive, with a power of up to 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of instant torque. The car is equipped with an independent rear suspension system, providing excellent damping capability.
Currently, the VinFast VF 6 electric car is priced in the range of VND 675 – 765 million for the Eco version and VND 765 – 855 million for the Plus version, depending on the battery purchase or lease package. The maintenance costs of electric cars from VinFast are low compared to traditional gasoline cars, making the VF 6 an attractive choice in its segment.
