In 1967, two engineers named Alex Tremulis and Thomas Summers collaborated to create a unique two-wheeled car called the Gyro-X for testing. This car is currently on display at a museum in Tennessee, USA. Little did anyone know that the Gyro-X is now being sold on a website for an astounding price of 5 million USD.

The Gyro-X is a two-wheeled car with front and back wheels. It is powered by the engine from a classic car called Mini Cooper S, released in 1967, with a 1.3-liter engine. Engineers have enhanced the power to 80 horsepower, allowing the Gyro-X to reach a top speed of 200km/h. However, the car maintains stability only when driven at a maximum speed of 110km/h.

To ensure safety on the road, the engineers continuously made improvements. However, they eventually sold the car to someone else.

In 1970, the new owner of the car added a third wheel to comply with the regulations for driving in California, USA. After that, it disappeared for a long time, and no one knew who owned it.

In the mid-1990s, the car was sold again by a collector in Texas, USA, to the Lane Motor Museum in Tennessee, USA. The museum fully restored the car to its original condition.

Over time, especially since the country opened up in the 1990s, Soviet cars have gradually disappeared to be replaced by Japanese, American, and European cars. Many Volga, Lada, and UAZ cars were liquidated from state agencies and transferred to civilian registration, but they did not exist for long before a wave of both imported and assembled cars flooded the streets. Soviet cars slowly drifted away and became a nostalgic reminder of a generation that has gone through two wars.
