During the world tour trip, the renowned Tourbillon watch had the pleasure of meeting collectors and enthusiasts in Vietnam on the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail masterpiece.

On April 26th, the boutique showroom Rolls-Royce Motor Cars HCMC was honored to be selected by Bovet 1822 as the next destination on the global journey of the distinguished Boat Tail watches. During the exhibition, Mr. Romain Milet, the CEO of the Asia-Pacific region of Bovet 1822, solemnly introduced the iconic watch pair on the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, the most expensive commercial car in the world. Additionally, Bovet 1822 also showcased an appealing collection that fully embodies the brand’s essence and philosophy.

An introduction and exhibition of the watch pair, masterpieces crafted exclusively by Bovet 1822 for the Boat Tail project, took place at the boutique showroom Rolls-Royce HCMC.

Mr. Romain Milet personally shared and spoke about the history and essence of watchmaking technology on the Bovet 1822 Boat Tail.

“The collaboration between Bovet 1822 and Rolls-Royce is truly special and filled with countless emotions. Both brands share the same values, which are artistic value, heritage value, and the beauty of craftsmanship – one of the most exquisite elements of human civilization. This project is brought together by the owner of the Boat Tail – not only a car collector but also a watch collector. They chose Bovet 1822 as the watchmaker to incorporate the watch pair into the Boat Tail dashboard. This is the embodiment of Bespoke, where all artistic ideas and desires of the guests are meticulously and comprehensively perfected. The Boat Tail project, together with the watch pair, has never been done before, and we believe that, alongside Rolls-Royce, we have created a masterpiece of art in the most perfect way, delivering an unforgettable experience to the owner.”

Mr. Romain Milet, Brand Manager of Bovet 1822 in the Asia-Pacific region, shared at the exhibition event held at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars HCMC showroom.

“Rolls-Royce is Bespoke. When customers come to Rolls-Royce, they always expect and trust in our Bespoke capability. The Boat Tail masterpiece is a result of the legendary Coachbuild capability and the mastery of watchmaking, as well as the powertrain at Bovet 1822. The watch pair is one of over 1,800 details in the Boat Tail masterpiece, and it truly is a masterpiece. The combination of selected materials and car details meets the owner’s expectations. Bespoke is not just about choosing colors and materials, but it also encompasses the soul and emotions of Rolls-Royce owners embedded in every masterpiece. Ms. Tú Lê, Chief Brand Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars HCMC shared.

Ms. Tú Lê, CEO of S&S Automotive, presented the shared values between Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and House of Bovet 1822.

The Bovet 1822 watch brand is renowned for its mastery of traditional watchmaking. With a two-century history, the brand is always at the forefront of creative design and sustainable development in various arts and crafts, such as sculpture, miniature painting, and the fusion of different materials. Bovet 1822 not only focuses on the artistic appearance of the watch but also prioritizes the quality of each movement it produces. Placing a traditional mechanical watch on a car dashboard is no simple feat, considering the different conditions compared to wearing a watch on the wrist, such as vibrations when the car starts and moves, humidity, and magnetic force. Bovet 1822 has successfully conducted research and crafted a watch pair that meets all the diverse needs and conditions of the Boat Tail model in terms of technicality and functionality. The watch pair also features the intricate Tourbillon detail – an incredibly complex component that minimizes the impact of magnetic forces to ensure precise watch movement.

In addition, Bovet 1822 possesses the patented Amadéo integrated strap system, which allows the watch face to be detached, transforming it into a pocket watch or desk clock with just one action, without the need for any additional supporting devices. Moreover, the watch pair exclusively designed for the Boat Tail can be attached to the car dashboard thanks to the support detail installed inside the car, making it easy to remove the watch for wristwear or placement on a table without affecting the operation of the powertrain.

The exhibition aims to showcase the Bespoke capability of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars brand, emphasizing that Bespoke goes beyond selecting from the available 44,000 colors or various materials. It also encompasses other details that have never existed before, proposed by guests. The Boat Tail serves as a prime example of limitless Bespoke capability, ranging from the frame, color, to added details such as champagne cabinets, outdoor seats, and sunshades, all integrated into the car based on the owner’s desires.

Guests can immerse themselves in the Bespoke world of Rolls-Royce through the Phantom Extended VIII model displayed at the exhibition.

At the event, guests can also see the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended VIII model featuring various Bespoke details.

Here, guests can appreciate the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended VIII with Bespoke details and listen to the brand’s values from Rolls-Royce HCMC consultants.

Guests have the opportunity to experience the extraordinary Bovet 1822 watch pair exclusively crafted for the Boat Tail and admire its exquisite details.

Designed specifically for the Boat Tail owner, this watch pair features meticulously carved details that simulate the car itself. These patterns are entirely handcrafted, showcasing the complete details of the wheels, door handles, mirrors, and other elements.

The watch version for the female owner is adorned with a small painting featuring an intricately decorated bouquet on a guilloché dial. This design embodies the traditional pattern of BOVET 1822, personally selected and personalized according to the owner’s request.

In addition to the special watch pair on the Boat Tail, S&S Group also introduced a unique collection of other Bovet 1822 timepieces to numerous collectors and watch enthusiasts.

Mr. Romain Milet conveyed the enthusiasm and passion of the Bovet 1822 brand to the distinguished guests, particularly the young collectors in the S-shaped country.
