Stage 3 VMRC 2020: Exceptional Showing by Duc Thanh, Remarkable Resurgence by Dong Nghi

The latest round of the Vietnam Motor Racing 2020 has recently concluded at the 2K Race Track in Binh Duong, bringing forth thrilling moments. Among the participants, Duc Thanh showcased his brilliance in the MSX 125 category, while To Ha Dong Nghi emerged as the outstanding winner in the Winner 150 category.

Following two exciting races at the 2K Race Track and Dai Nam in Binh Duong, Round 3 is set to deliver even more intense and competitive action. Spectators can look forward to heart-pounding battles as drivers showcase their skills on the track.

Stage 3 of VMRC 2020 features 5 thrilling racing categories: Blade 110cc, MSX 125cc, Winner 150cc, UB130cc, and the Vietnam Talent Cup. Impressive numbers of racers are participating, including 7 competitors in the Vietnam Talent Cup, 12 racers in the Blade 110cc category, 12 racers in the MSX125cc category, 12 racers in the Winner 150cc category, and 15 racers from 10 Vietnamese Wave modification clubs in the UB130 category.

After being initially postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Stage 3 of VMRC 2020 made its long-awaited comeback on November 7th and 8th at the Binh Duong Racetrack. Racers had some time on the 7th of November to familiarize themselves with the track and find their best performance.

Unlike the first two stages, which were marred by continuous rainfall, stage 3 of VMRC 2020 took place under favorable weather conditions. This allowed racers to showcase their full abilities. After the qualifying session held on the morning of November 8th, it became clear that the top racers gained an advantage. The 2K racetrack in Binh Duong province spans approximately 1.2 km and features 9 corners, with the longest straight section measuring around 400m.

In the Blade 110 category, racer Phan Minh Phung continued to show consistent form by achieving the best result in the qualifying race. Racer number 26 completed a 2K lap with a best time of 47.277. Racer Nguyen Chi Hieu will start in second position with a best time of 47.567, and racer Pham Duc Phuc starts in third position with a time of 47.937.

“Dominating the MSX 125cc category, Nguyen Duc Thanh shines as the reigning champion of the Blade 110cc 2019 and a current member of the Honda Vietnam racing team in the prestigious ARRC Asian Championship. Never failing to impress his fans, Duc Thanh delivered an outstanding performance during the qualifying race, completing a lap in just 44.387 seconds, securing the first position. Following closely behind is the familiar face of Nguyen Nhat Truong, with a time of 45.289 seconds, claiming the second spot. And in third place, we have Dinh Hoang Quoc Hieu, finishing the race with a time of 45.911 seconds.”

The main race highlights include a thrilling competition in the NSF100 category, with fierce battles between racers Nguyen Tran Duc Tai and Nguyen Ton Anh Phu. In the Blade 110 category, racer Phan Minh Phung shows consistent form and impresses with his outstanding performance. The MSX 125 category witnesses the dominance of racer Nguyen Duc Thanh. The Winner 150 category is closely contested by top contenders Nguyen Ngoc Nhan, Nguyen Tien Thanh, and Nguyen Hoang Dang Khoa. The UB130 category showcases intense competition, with racers Minh Sang and Bui Duy Thong vying for the top spot.

Luu Truong Bao secures second place with a time of 10 minutes 10.447, followed by Tran Le Minh Tu finishing in third place with a total time of 10 minutes 11.572. At the end of stage 3, racer Nguyen Ngoc Nhan maintains the overall lead with a total of 22 points.

In the Winner 150 category, Tô Hà Ðông Nghi takes the lead immediately after the start signal. Despite strong competition, Ðông Nghi successfully defends the leading position and crosses the finish line first.

In the UB130 category, Minh Sang fiercely competes with Bui Duy Thong. After a thrilling race, Minh Sang finishes first, leaving behind the competition by over 1 lap.

With exciting races and intense competition, future stages of VMRC 2020 promise even more excitement as top racers defend their positions and challengers strive to improve their standings on the leaderboard.
