The recently released Korean channel has provided a detailed glimpse of the upcoming Kia Carnival facelift prototype. Although the test prototype is still heavily camouflaged, closer inspection reveals several significant updates. The exterior of the car appears to have been redesigned in line with Kia’s latest models.

Notably, the Kia Carnival facelift will sport vertically arranged LED headlights, redesigned daytime running lights, and a fresh grille. At the rear, the taillights feature an upside-down “L” shape, a departure from the current version’s horizontal design.
The C-pillar trim remains unchanged, while the facelifted Carnival boasts newly designed wheels for a more muscular appearance.
The video also offers a glimpse of the cabin, although the dashboard, instrument cluster, and steering wheel area are still concealed. The passenger area features a new screen with air conditioning controls, while the rest of the interior remains largely unchanged, including the central control panel and rear seats.
This version is rumored to come equipped with a hybrid powertrain, possibly combining a 1.6L engine with an electric motor. However, it’s worth noting that the hybrid system may not be available in all markets.
In addition, Kia is set to introduce several features that were missing from the fourth-generation Carnival’s initial release. These new additions may include a heads-up display (HUD), highway driving assist 2 (HDA2), a pair of 12-inch curved screens, fingerprint recognition, and Ergo Motion Seats from the EV9 model…
The Kia Carnival 2024 is expected to be officially launched in South Korea towards the end of this year, followed by other markets in early next year.
