The 2023 KTM SMT 890, a supermoto motorcycle, has been recently revealed by the Austrian motorcycle company. It is based on the KTM 890 Adventure model and its price has not been disclosed yet.

The KTM 890 SMT 2023 is powered by a liquid-cooled LC8c parallel twin engine with a displacement of 889cc. It produces 103.5 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. According to the manufacturer, the bike has a fuel consumption rate of 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers and can travel over 340 kilometers on a full tank of fuel.

In terms of design, the KTM 890 SMT 2023 features a split headlight, high front fender, high tail section, and high exhaust pipe. Unlike the adventure tourer variant, this model comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. The bike is built with a CroMo steel frame, which has a sturdy shape similar to the 890 Adventure.

The new suspension system of the KTM 890 SMT includes inverted WP APEX open-cartridge forks with 43 mm diameter and a rear mono-shock. Braking is handled by dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single 260 mm disc at the rear.

Additionally, the KTM 890 SMT 2023 comes with a range of features including full LED lighting, a color TFT display with Bluetooth support, four riding modes (Rain, Street, Sport, and optional Track mode), cornering traction control, and ABS braking with Supermoto mode.

Customers also have the option to choose additional features such as heated grips, engine brake control (MSR), quickshifter, and cruise control.
