Impressively surpassing expectations, the Toyota Vios also earns additional benefits until December 31, 2023, with a 100% fee waiver and a 1-year Toyota body insurance premium gift.

Toyota Vios – The leading force in the B-sedan segment

Between 2022 and 2023, the Vietnamese automotive market witnessed a remarkable surge in popularity for SUV/CUV models, as users flocked to the trend of high-riding cars. Consequently, the market share of other segments gradually diminished, with the B-sedan segment seemingly being the exception. Notably, all three popular models in the B-sedan segment made it to the top 10 best-selling cars in the Vietnamese automotive market in 2022. Toyota Vios emerged as the leading model with sales of 23,529 units. Hyundai Accent secured the second position, while Honda City ranked sixth. This evidences the B-sedan segment’s enduring appeal and continued preference among Vietnamese customers.

Determined not to rest on its laurels, Toyota Vios revamped and refreshed itself in 2023 with the release of a mid-life facelift version. This new version received positive feedback from the market for its positive changes in design, convenience features, and safety enhancements, all without any increase in price.

Anh Minh Kien, a young startup entrepreneur from Hanoi, was one of the first customers to own the upgraded version of Vios following its introduction to the market in May 2023. Mr. Kien shared his thoughts, stating, “The Vios 2023 boasts a completely new appearance compared to previous versions. The most striking change is the front end of the car, which features an expanded grille, sleek Bi-LED headlights, chrome-plated borders, and an elevated logo design. I absolutely love these personalized and distinctive touches, as they perfectly embody my personality and aesthetic preferences.”

Moreover, the introduction of advanced safety features in the segment has helped cement Toyota Vios’s position. In the G version, Vios is equipped with 7 airbags, the most in its segment. Additionally, the Vios G version is enhanced with 2 safety features from the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) active safety package, namely pre-collision warning and lane departure warning assist. These features effectively support the driver, ensuring safer journeys.

Double the benefits when purchasing a Toyota Vios

Understanding the high demand for transportation and the desire to own a car by the end of the year, Toyota Vietnam and its dealerships have created opportunities for customers to easily acquire the Vios sedan, known as the “national” sedan model. They have launched a 50% registration fee discount program. Moreover, the government is also supporting a 50% registration fee discount for domestically manufactured and assembled cars. Consequently, customers who purchase a Vios can enjoy a full exemption from registration fees, resulting in savings of up to 60 million VND in terms of on-road costs. Additionally, from now until December 31, 2023, customers who purchase a Vios will receive a 1-year Toyota body insurance package as part of a promotional offer. This program is applicable to customers who purchase vehicles, complete payment, and authorized dealers who issue value-added invoices during the aforementioned timeframe.

Van Xuan from Thanh Hoa, who participated in the October promotion, expressed his satisfaction after purchasing a Vios. He said, “Originally, I planned to save enough money to buy a car by the end of December 2023, so that my entire family could comfortably and safely travel back to our hometown. However, in early October, when I came across the registration fee discount promotion for Vios, I immediately seized the opportunity and confidently bought the Vios E-CVT, enjoying a 53 million VND discount on the registration fee. Thanks to this offer, I managed to complete the purchase without the need to borrow money or wait until the end of December.”

Furthermore, Toyota Financial is also implementing a car loan support program with an interest rate as low as 0%, fixed for 6 months. This initiative addresses customers’ financial concerns, making it easier for them to own a quality sedan.

Renowned for its core values such as durability, fuel efficiency, low operating costs, and high resale value, which have been proven over the past two decades, coupled with significant improvements in 2023 and attractive promotional programs, the Toyota Vios holds great promise. It is set to become the top choice of Vietnamese customers and contribute to a surge in sales during the peak end-of-year period.
