The Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 has exceeded expectations in Thailand, receiving over 5,168 orders within one week since its launch. This figure far surpasses the projected sales target of 2,000 units per month.
The Thai version of the Yaris Cross is assembled in Thailand and is exclusively available with the hybrid petrol option, similar to the Thai version of the Honda HR-V. The hybrid system combines a 2NR-VEX 1.5L 4-cylinder natural aspirated engine (91 PS/121 Nm) with an electric motor (80 PS/121 Nm).
The Toyota Yaris Cross is available in three versions in Thailand, with the following prices:
– HEV Smart: 789,000 baht (approximately 521 million VND)
– HEV Premium: 849,000 baht (approximately 560 million VND)
– HEV Premium Luxury: 899,000 baht (approximately 594 million VND)
All versions of the Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 in Thailand come with front-wheel drive, with the main differences between the three versions being in terms of equipment and features.
The base Smart version features standard full-LED headlights and taillights, LED front fog lights, 17-inch wheels, and synthetic leather seats.
Additionally, the base version includes a 10-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic air conditioning, four USB ports, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and an electronic parking brake.
Safety features in the base version include 6 airbags, a reverse camera, anti-lock braking system, and electronic stability control. The Toyota Safety Sense package is only available from the Premium variant onwards.
Moving up to the Premium version, Thai users will enjoy 17-inch dual-tone wheels, leather seats, and a 6-speaker sound system.
In terms of safety, the Premium version is equipped with two front parking sensors, front camera, anti-mispedal system, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA).
In the top-of-the-line Premium Luxury version, buyers have the option of choosing two-tone colors for both the interior and exterior. Additionally, the car features a panoramic sunroof and welcome lights on the rearview mirror.
Inside the cabin, the Premium Luxury version boasts a Pioneer 6-speaker sound system, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, hands-free power tailgate, and wireless phone charging. This version also includes a 360-degree camera and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Meanwhile, in the Vietnamese market, the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross is available in two petrol and hybrid variants, priced at 730 million and 838 million VND respectively.
