When it comes to car aficionados, one name that stands out is Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu. Known for his passion for luxury cars, he has a special fondness for three iconic automotive brands: Ferrari, Porsche, and Aston Martin. His collection boasts an array of models from these renowned manufacturers, alongside a selection of rare cars in Vietnam such as the McLaren Senna, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Toyota Supra mk IV, and Ford Mustang Shelby GT.
Recently, a reputable car dealership shared images of the Audi R8 V10 Plus, which Mr. Vu added to his esteemed collection. This particular model is rarely seen on the streets, making it a standout addition. With only 6,700 km on the odometer, it is evident that this car has been meticulously maintained compared to other cars of the same generation (2015-2017).
It is estimated that Mr. Vu had to invest a staggering 9 billion VND to acquire this German supercar. To put it into perspective, a similar Audi R8 V10 Plus with 26,000 km on the clock is currently being offered for over 9 billion VND in the market. Considering the pristine condition of Mr. Vu’s R8, its value could potentially reach around 11 billion VND.
Originally, the car boasted a vibrant red exterior. However, upon becoming part of Mr. Vu’s car collection, the color was changed to his preferred shade of black. His million-dollar car collection features a range of colors, including military green, silver, white, and black. The addition of white accents on the hood adds an extra touch of elegance.
One notable feature of this vehicle is its unique V10 engine, a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter powerhouse shared with the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. Delivering an impressive maximum power of 602 horsepower and a torque of 560 Nm, this engine is coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds. It boasts a top speed of 330 km/h.
Moving into the interior, the overall ambiance remains remarkably fresh, with minimal signs of wear apart from some slight wrinkles on the seats. The dominant color scheme is black, complemented by striking red stitching. Carbon fiber accents adorn the dashboard, control panel, and air conditioning vents, enhancing the visual appeal of the cabin.
In addition to his recent acquisition, the Audi R8 V10 Plus, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu also proudly owns two other notable R8 models in Vietnam. The first is the R8 V10 Spyder 2015, bearing the license plate number “8888,” which was previously owned by Novaland. The other variant in his possession is the R8 Performance 2021, originally purchased from a prominent figure in the food industry.
