During the last months of 2023, Isuzu dealers nationwide have simultaneously launched a promotional program for the mu-X model.
As part of this program, customers who purchase the B7 and B7 Plus versions of the Isuzu mu-X will receive discounts of 184.6 and 199 million VND respectively. These discounts already include dealership discounts as well as a 50% registration fee exemption from Isuzu Vietnam.
The current prices for the Isuzu mu-X B7 and B7 Plus are only 726.2 million VND and 799.8 million VND respectively.
In addition to the B7 and B7 Plus versions, the mu-X model also offers two other premium versions called Prestige and Premium. Customers who choose these versions will not receive the 50% registration fee exemption from the manufacturer, but they will still enjoy a few small incentives depending on the dealership. The current listed prices for these two versions are 1.15 billion VND and 1.25 billion VND respectively.
The Isuzu mu-X is imported from Thailand and distributed in Vietnam. It belongs to the D-segment SUV segment, alongside the Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Nissan Terra, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Kia Sorento. However, its sales volume is often low, leading to significant discounts provided by the manufacturer and dealerships to stimulate sales.
The Isuzu mu-X has a spacious size, measuring 4,850 x 1,870 x 1,870 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,855 mm.
The front of the car impresses with a large chrome grille featuring the Isuzu style, along with slim headlights incorporating LED technology. At the rear, the car showcases compact LED taillights.
Inside the Isuzu mu-X cabin, you’ll find 2-tone leather seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a new design 3-spoke steering wheel, and a 9-inch infotainment screen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car is also equipped with a dual-zone automatic air conditioning system, with individual vents for the rear seats mounted on the car ceiling. The second row of seats features armrests and two types of charging ports.
Under the hood, the Isuzu mu-X is powered by a 1.9L turbocharged diesel engine delivering a maximum power of 150 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,800 – 2,600 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels (4×2) or all four wheels (4×4) through a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT).
In terms of safety features, the car is equipped with a range of driving assistance functions, including intelligent cruise control, speed limiter, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, emergency braking, cross-traffic alert when reversing, blind spot warning, unintended acceleration prevention, tire pressure warning, 8 front and rear sensors, automatic high/low beam, and a 6-airbag system.
