The highly anticipated VinFast VF 7 electric car model has been receiving immense attention from international media due to its outstanding design and performance.
VF 7 – Making a Captivating First Impression
In an article titled “2024 VinFast VF 7 First Look Review: Third Time’s The Charm,” leading US automotive newspaper Carbuzz praised the VF 7 extensively. The newspaper had previously given positive reviews for VinFast’s VF 8 and VF 9 models.
The VF 7 has received high praise from international press for its sporty, modern, and stylish design
“The VF 7’s design is truly eye-catching,” commented Carbuzz on VinFast’s impressive C-SUV model. The newspaper’s top experts analyzed the unique exterior design, which draws inspiration from the beauty of the universe and space objects, perfectly executed by Torino Design. Notable features include a classic SUV design with a wide running light system on the body, a curved V-shaped bend, bold lines along the side, and a wide rear end.
The VF 7’s unique C-pillar design and the use of 20-inch wheels have also garnered high praise.
Superior Safety and Intelligent Features
According to Carbuzz, the VF 7 comes with notable safety features such as 8 airbags and a comprehensive range of advanced active safety systems. The VF 7 Plus version also features an advanced ADAS driving assist system with outstanding features like lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning, blind-spot warning, and door opening warning. The car is also equipped with the VF Connect package, offering excellent virtual assistant features.
In fact, this is a standout feature of VinFast electric cars compared to gasoline models in the same segment. Besides the interactive virtual assistant, the VF 7 offers numerous intelligent functions that are considered more convenient than its competitors, such as automatic emergency call function, unauthorized intrusion monitoring and warning, and real-time vehicle information monitoring and display. According to Carbuzz, the VF 7 is currently the most highly anticipated model on the market.
The VF 7 comes equipped with intelligent and safety technologies, promising an excellent driving experience
The VF 7 demonstrates impressive power with an electric motor producing 174 horsepower in the Base version, offering a maximum range of 375 km/full charge (based on WLTP standards). However, according to Carbuzz, users have the option to choose the VF 7 Plus version with a 349 horsepower engine to experience its enhanced power and thrilling driving inspiration.
Competitively Priced, VF 7 is the Premier Choice in its Segment
In addition to Carbuzz, several other international automotive newspapers have made noteworthy comments about VinFast’s forthcoming model. Carscoops reported that the VF 7 will be available for pre-order in Vietnam and the US starting from December 2, 2023, with deliveries scheduled for early 2024. Priced between VND 999 million and VND 1.199 billion, this US newspaper believes that customers will greatly benefit from the option to rent the battery.
Electrek conveys a similar viewpoint. In the Vietnamese market, VinFast offers a battery rental package with a monthly cost of VND 2.9 million (equivalent to 120 USD) for a maximum travel distance of 3,000 km per month. For distances exceeding 3,000 km, the monthly fee is VND 4.8 million (approximately 198 USD). During the first year, customers will enjoy free public charging, thereby covering operating costs through the battery rental fee, which is approximately VND 967 per km. This is at least 50% cheaper than operating costs for gasoline SUVs in the same segment.
The VF 7 is expected to become a heavyweight model in the C segment in both the Vietnamese and international markets
According to Electrek, the Vietnamese automaker plans to sell the VF 7 in the US. This newspaper has been closely monitoring VinFast’s progress over the past 2 years. Despite the relatively short time frame, VinFast is developing at a faster pace than its market competitors. This is evidenced by the introduction of various models, including the VF e34, VF 5, VF 8, VF 9, and most recently, VF 3, VF 6, and VF 7.
Regarding the VF 7, international newspapers worldwide anticipate it being a top-choice model in the C segment, not only in Vietnam but also across international markets.
In Vietnam, due to competitive pricing compared to gasoline cars and low energy costs (calculated at less than VND 600 per km), the VF 7 is considered to offer excellent value for its power and outstanding equipment compared to gasoline vehicles. The C-class SUV is expected to make a significant impact once customers can officially place their deposits in the near future.
