A theft occurred at the Edgewood auction yard in Washington, involving a blue truck with “U Map Trucking LLC” written on each side. The stolen truck is a 2003 white Freightliner and was accompanied by three vintage cars in the trailer behind.

The classic cars in the rear carrier include a red 1953 Cadillac El Dorado, a two-door 1964 Ford Galaxy 500 with red interior, and a light blue 1954 Buick Century convertible with a white top.

The estimated value of these vehicles is over $500,000.

Detective Troyer stated, “We believe this was premeditated. It’s very unusual for an 18-wheel tow truck to be stolen. Not many people know how to drive them, so the thief must have been someone who knows how to operate a tow truck, and we suspect they know what’s inside the stolen vehicle. What they’re after isn’t the truck and trailer, it’s the vintage cars.”

The police are offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with useful information to identify the thief.
