Following the successful launch of the new Cayenne earlier this year, Porsche is now upgrading the Panamera. The luxury 4-door coupe has been redesigned and improved in its third generation, with the introduction of new engines.
Exterior design of the Porsche Panamera 2024
The overall design of the Porsche Panamera 2024 remains similar to the previous generation, giving it a mid-cycle facelift appearance rather than a completely new design. However, Porsche confirms that all body panels of the Panamera 2024 have been redesigned.
The most noticeable change on the exterior is the front section of the Porsche Panamera 2024. It features a narrow radiator grille at the top and a wide central air intake below. Additionally, it is equipped with standard LED Matrix headlights with a new design that complements the changes in the front fenders.

In terms of the side profile, there aren’t many changes in the Porsche Panamera 2024. Porsche has added new air vents to the front fenders, sharper window edges, and frameless rear windows. The car also comes with new wheel designs, including optional 21-inch wheels inspired by the Porsche 911 GT3.

Interior design of the Porsche Panamera 2024
Similar to the new Cayenne, the Porsche Panamera 2024 boasts a modern interior with multiple screens to meet market trends and consumer preferences. The driver will find 3 screens when entering the car, including a digital instrument cluster, a 12.6-inch touch screen in the center, and an optional 10.9-inch entertainment screen for the front passenger.

A notable change in the interior of the Porsche Panamera 2024 is the absence of the traditional gear lever on the center console. Instead, there is a compact gear selector located between the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen, which enhances the overall design of the center console.

Engines of the Porsche Panamera 2024
In its third generation, the Porsche Panamera offers 4 plug-in hybrid powertrain options (E-Hybrid). All of them are more powerful, fuel-efficient, and provide increased electric-only range.
Porsche has currently released specifications for the engine used in the Turbo E-Hybrid version of the Panamera. It features a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine combined with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and a larger 25.9 kWh battery pack. This powertrain delivers a total output of 670 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 196 mph.

In addition to the hybrid powertrain, the Porsche Panamera 2024 also offers conventional gasoline engine options. This engine is 23 horsepower and 50 lb-ft more powerful than the previous generation.
Furthermore, the Porsche Panamera 2024 comes with an optional new Active Ride suspension system, which provides a smoother ride on rough roads and automatically adjusts the ground clearance based on driving conditions. The “Comfort Access” feature raises the ground clearance by 5.5 cm to facilitate entry and exit, similar to SUV models.
Even the standard suspension system of the car has been improved to offer a more comfortable ride and more responsive handling.
