The Hyundai Sonata 2024 was first unveiled by Hyundai in March 2023 as an upgraded version in the middle of the eighth-generation lifecycle. The main changes are focused on the car’s front, where the unique-shaped headlights and daytime running lights have been replaced with simple LED strips and separate headlights integrated into the air intake slot. This new design is more modern and eye-catching.
Another notable upgrade for the upgraded Sonata N Line includes new 19-inch alloy wheels, bold LED taillights, and a choice of 6 exterior colors: Serenity White, Biophilic Ink, Abyss Black, Nocturne Grey, Ultimate Red, and Aero Silver Matte.
Moving inside, the Hyundai Sonata 2024 also receives significant upgrades. The most noticeable change is the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment screen, both housed in a curved floating display. The 2024 version also features a gear lever mounted behind the steering wheel. Hyundai has also enhanced the interior ambient lighting system of the car. Additionally, the N Line version comes with Nappa leather seats featuring contrasting red stitching.
Powering the Sonata N Line is a turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 286 horsepower and a maximum torque of 422 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. However, it’s worth noting that there is no limited slip differential available.
The Sonata 2024 is equipped with wireless software update capability, and all models sold in Australia come standard with Hyundai BlueLink connectivity service.
In the Australian market, the starting price of the Hyundai Sonata N Line 2024 is 35,191 USD.
