The 2024 Kawasaki Z900 introduces some visual changes, offering two new color options: Candy Persimmon Red with Ebony and Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Matte Gray. The overall design of the 2024 Kawasaki Z900 takes inspiration from the Kawasaki Z H2, featuring a sleek headlight design, a muscular fuel tank, a split-style seat, a side-mounted exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The “Sugomi” design language, which is a characteristic of the Z series, is still retained in the 2024 Kawasaki Z900. The bike is equipped with several advanced features including integrated riding modes (combining KTRC and new Power Control modes), a new TFT color display system, smartphone connectivity, a full LED lighting system, and a more environmentally friendly exhaust system.
The powertrain of the 2024 Z900 consists of a liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder, 948cc engine. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 125 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 98.6 Nm at 7,700 rpm, paired with a 6-speed transmission. The main highlight of the 2024 Z900 lies in its completely new tire system, featuring a set of two Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tires. Additionally, the “Z” shaped LED taillight adds to the bike’s sporty image and showcases the strong Z personality of the new Z900.
The design around the headlight area contributes to a sharper and more streamlined appearance. The lines in this area have been adjusted to tilt forward and create sharp corners, emphasizing the design of the new headlight cluster. The fuel tank cover, lower fairing, and silver swingarm cap have all been redesigned to enhance the bike’s sleekness and give it a sharper look befitting the new generation Kawasaki Z900.
The 2024 Z900 comes equipped with KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), an advanced traction control system by Kawasaki that offers improved sports performance and enhanced safety on slippery surfaces. The system provides three different modes to suit various riding situations.
This naked bike also features 4 integrated riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider (Manual). The new speedometer is a newly introduced feature in the latest generation. Users have the option to choose between a white or black display screen, and the brightness can be adjusted to three levels to accommodate different riding conditions.
Bluetooth technology is integrated into the control panel, allowing riders to wirelessly connect with the bike. Through the “RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE” smartphone app, users can access and adjust certain bike functions, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Currently, there is no detailed information regarding the pricing of the 2024 Kawasaki Z900. The bike is expected to be launched in late 2023 or early 2024. In the Vietnamese market, the new generation Z900 was introduced and launched in October 2024 with a starting price of 320 million VND.
