Kia Car Company Releases Teaser Video for 2024 Sonet Model
The Kia Sonet 2024 has been “teased” with a new video ahead of its official launch on December 14th.
In the newly released video, the 2024 Sonet model stands out with its striking red exterior.
The front of the car has undergone a complete redesign, featuring a sleeker front grille, reverse L-shaped LED daytime running lights, and new LED headlights. The front bumper has also been refined with a rugged look.
The Kia Sonet 2024 is also equipped with a new set of multi-spoke wheels, adding to its sporty and sturdy appearance. These wheels bear a resemblance to the ones found on the currently available Kia Sportage model in Vietnam.
As a facelift version, the interior space of the 2024 Sonet cabin will see minor improvements. The car features a new interior color, along with a digital dashboard and adjusted air conditioning controls.
The Kia Sonet 2024 comes equipped with a premium Bose speaker system. If it is sold in Vietnam, this new feature will give it a slight edge over its competitor, the Toyota Raize.
According to various speculations, the Kia Sonet 2024 is equipped with 6 airbags, an ABS brake system with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), and other standard safety features. The high-end version also includes the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Powering the car are 3 engine options, which vary depending on the market. The first option is a 1.2L gasoline engine with a maximum power of 83 horsepower and a peak torque of 115 Nm. The second option is a turbocharged 1.0L gasoline engine, delivering 120 horsepower and a torque of 172 Nm. Lastly, a 1.5L diesel engine provides a maximum power of 116 horsepower and a peak torque of 250 Nm.
The 1.2L gasoline engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the other two engines are offered with a 6-speed iMT manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. According to sources, Kia intends to introduce a diesel manual version of this car model in the Indian market.
