Unlike the Crown Crossover and Crown Sport developed on the front-wheel-drive TNGA-K platform, the 2024 Toyota Crown Sedan is developed on the rear-wheel-drive TNGA-L platform.

The sedan model has a new look that looks more premium and elegant than its predecessor. At the front, there is a large air intake below, chrome details, and shark fin LED headlights.

The rear of the car stands out with a full-width LED taillight, and a sculpted rear bumper without exhaust pipes.

The cabin is a combination of luxury highlights, including wood trim accents on the dashboard and center console, and leather seats.

The digital cockpit looks similar to the rest of the Crown family with two 12.3-inch screens mounted on the same panel and physical buttons on the steering wheel. Like its predecessors, the Crown does not have Toyota’s logo, as it has developed into a subsidiary brand with its own identity.

As for the measurements, the 2024 Crown Sedan has a length of 5,030 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, a height of 1,470 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Compared to the US version of the Crown Crossover, the 2024 Crown Sedan is 102 mm longer.

For the powertrain, the 2024 Toyota Crown Sedan integrates a fuel cell system similar to the Toyota Mirai and can travel an impressive distance of up to 820 km. Detailed information is scarce, but the Toyota Mirai currently has a power output of 182 PS.

Meanwhile, with the hybrid version, the Crown Sedan is the first Toyota model to be equipped with the new 2.5L multi-stage hybrid system, combining a gasoline engine with two electric motors. Detailed technical specifications have yet to be announced.
